Located in the heart of the vineyards of Bordeaux, in South Gironde, building owners wanted a swimming pool integrated into the landscape.
The architects favored a settlement related to solar orientation, the view of the Garonne valley, and a concealed position relative to the outer circulation of the property.
The wooden deck around the pool reminds of the stakes supporting the vine.
It will turn silverish grey with time.
It has 2 large beaches facing south and west to bask on sun loungers.
4 wide steps spread over the width of the pool give an easy access to the water, adapting to every age and every mood. The pool extends with a swimming and playfull area, with a depth of 1.80 m for more security
The entire pool and terrace is a welcoming space, facing the hills of St Emilion.
